ROOM ASSIGNMENTS FOR THE SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS

Our informal "Special Interest Groups" take place Thursday, April 16 from 7:45-9:00 p.m. at the Rhode Island Convention Center. They provide a great opportunity to meet conference participants and speakers with similar interests. Here are the room assignments: Becoming a Professional Genealogist, Room 553B; DNA Research, Ballroom A; French Canadian Research, Ballroom B; Genealogy Blogging, Room 555A/B; Irish American Research, Room 552A; Italian Research, Room 550A/B; Jewish Genealogy, Room 552B; Rhode Island Research, Room 551A/B; Scandinavian Research, Ballroom A.

  1. I am happy that all of you have achieved your goals. Well, I am too looking for some good location like a convention center which is conveniently located but not too costly. Can you help me in it as I am getting confused with so many options available?

In order to put on this conference for such a reasonable rate, we need the help of many volunteers. Below is a list of current openings. If you are interested in volunteering or you are bringing a spouse or friend along for the ride who may be able to volunteer, this is a great way to help. All volunteers get raffle tickets for our volunteer raffle. In 2011 this exclusive raffle had many great items.
