Poster Sessions Wanted for NERGC

In addition to regular presentations, the New England Regional Genealogical Conference (NERGC) is also requesting submissions for poster sessions. Proposal Deadline - Thursday!!

Calling all Speakers - the deadline for submitting proposals for the 2013 New England Regional Genealogical Conference is this Thursday, March 1, 2012 .   Please see Call for Proposals below for details on submitting. In keeping with our Conference theme, “Woven in History: The Fabric of New England,” successful lecture, workshop, and poster session proposals will address: • New research methodologies and strategies, including technology and techniques; • Our ethnic fabric – all ethnicities welcomed; • Finding that thread of truth – proving or disproving family lore; • Immigration and emigration patterns; • New uses of sources (such as religious, civil, cemetery, military, and newspapers); • They came to work: work ethics, culture, language, patrony...

Correction on Poster Sessions

Please note one correction to the previous " NERGC 2013: Call for Papers " post. “Poster sessions will be up Friday and Saturday.  Presenters will be required to do several scheduled presentations throughout the two days.” The poster sessions in the exhibitor hall will only be up on Friday and Saturday not Thursday as mentioned in the previous post.

Call for Papers 12th New England Regional Genealogical Conference 17-21 April 2013 Radisson Hotel Conference Center, Manchester, NH NERGC 2013 presentation proposals are now being welcomed before 1 March 2012. Final Reminder for NERGC 2011 Full Conference Survey

Can you believe it has been over three weeks since  NERGC 2011 - Exploring New Paths to Your Roots!  The Full Conference Survey is available for only ONE (1) MORE DAY.  If you have not already done so, please share your feedback.  We value your input which helps NERGC review the 2011 conference and plan the next conference in 2013.  Join the over 300 attendees who have already responded.  You may be the winner of a free conference registration  for NERGC 2013 in Manchester NH April 17-21 by completing this survey.  But, time is running out.  Analysis will begin and the survey will not be available for your input after Tuesday May 3.  Improvements for more convenient access have been made.  You will be asked for your email address and you may ask for reassignment of a password if you need it. NERGC 2011 Full Conference Survey

An e-mail reminder about the Full Conference Survey went out to all Conference registrants this afternoon.   If you have not already completed our online survey, you have two options.  Go to the NERGC 2011 web page and click on FULL CONFERENCE SURVEY or, click on the button in the e-mail to directly link to the survey. Don't see the button? Try viewing the email in your browser. Complete the survey before May 3, 2011 and your survey ID will be entered into a drawing for one FREE conference registration for NERGC 2013 in Manchester NH (April 17-21).  We will announce and contact the winner.
