ATTENTION GENEALOGICAL EXHIBITORS

There is still booth space available in the Exhibit Hall for the 13th New England Regional Genealogical Conference being held 15-18 April 2015 in Providence, Rhode Island. The first booth is $170, additional booths are $120. There is an additional $25 registration charge after 31 December 2014. ATTENTION HISTORICAL AND GENEALOGICAL ORGANIZATIONS

There's still space available at NERGC Society Fair, to be held Thursday, 16 April 2015 from 5:15 to 7 pm during Happy Hour. It’s a great way to gain exposure for your group. We’re especially interested in Rhode Island and nearby Connecticut and Massachusetts history and genealogy groups. It’s a great networking event and it’s free!! NERGC QUERY COLUMN DEADLINE IS JANUARY 15

The 2015 NERGC Conference at Providence, RI, will again include the ever-popular QueryColumn in our Conference Syllabus. These entry pages will also be duplicated and posted on the Query Board in the active area near Registration, adding to the hundreds of Registrants who will have the entries in their copy of the Syllabus. Cost is $5 per Query, or three for $10. Submit each entry (50 words or less) on a separate 81/2 x 11 sheet of paper; write your dates as 27 July 1927; indicate birth, death, marriage in that order, and event locations before dates. Supply known information before your question is asked. For sample query format, see NERGC 2015 E-zine 4 at http://www.nergc.org/E-zine_4_2015.pdf. Queries Chair reserves the right to edit for space/clarity, without changing thought. Entries must be postmarked by 15 January 2015. NERGC 2015 Featured Speakers

NERGC 2015 features two renowned Genealogical Keynote Speakers, Judy G. Russell and Lisa Louise Cooke.  Judy G. Russell The Legal Genealogist Judy G. Russell is a genealogist with a law degree. She writes, teaches and lectures on a wide variety of genealogical topics, ranging from using court records in family history to understanding DNA testing. A Colorado native with roots deep in the American south on her mother’s side and entirely in Germany on her father’s side, she is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, the National Genealogical Society and numerous state and regional genealogical societies. She has written for the National Genealogical Society Quarterly and National Genealogical Society Magazine , among other publications.
