NERGC QUERY COLUMN DEADLINE IS JANUARY 15

The 2015 NERGC Conference at Providence, RI, will again include the ever-popular QueryColumn in our Conference Syllabus. These entry pages will also be duplicated and posted on the Query Board in the active area near Registration, adding to the hundreds of Registrants who will have the entries in their copy of the Syllabus. Cost is $5 per Query, or three for $10. Submit each entry (50 words or less) on a separate 81/2 x 11 sheet of paper; write your dates as 27 July 1927; indicate birth, death, marriage in that order, and event locations before dates. Supply known information before your question is asked. For sample query format, see NERGC 2015 E-zine 4 at http://www.nergc.org/E-zine_4_2015.pdf. Queries Chair reserves the right to edit for space/clarity, without changing thought. Entries must be postmarked by 15 January 2015. Please enclose a check payable to "NERGC Queries" and mail to: Query Column, 40 Round Hill Road, Wethersfield, CT 06109-2510.

NERGC SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS

Special Interest Groups will be held on Thursday, April 16 th , from 7:45 to 9 p.m. They offer participants an informal opportunity to get together with others with similar interests to discuss ideas for genealogy research on a particular topic. NERGC VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

In order to put on this conference for such a reasonable rate, we need the help of many volunteers. Below is a list of current openings. If you are interested in volunteering or you are bringing a spouse or friend along for the ride who may be able to volunteer, this is a great way to help. All volunteers get raffle tickets for our volunteer raffle. In 2011 this exclusive raffle had many great items.
